Cheer(io)

It's just one of those times.
I guess I never imagined myself as a blog-worthy person, or someone with an amazing platform to preach to the masses through the world-wide web. I don't know that I'd have much to say about the nuances of my everyday life--
"Today, I ran out of toothpaste. Praise Walgreens for carrying Crest."
Or something like
"My life is full of like, friggin' drama, and I'm, like, freaking out because there's like so much stressing me out and I'm about to eat like five Ben and Jerry's Deluxe Brownie Batters so whatever, it's like fine, right?"
Or even worse,
"I read the most ________ literature today, so inspiring, the depth of ________'s character reveals so much ______ about life."
I'm pretty sure only .03% of the population genuinely cares about literature the way I do #englishmajorprobz.

But occasionally, every so often, there are times in my life that seem to call for attention, processing, and sharing--and this, I believe, is one of those times.

So here's to the beginning of many beginnings. The first of many firsts. The first blog post for the first time a girl from the South goes to England, to study, to go on adventures, to end up in the unexpected. Here's to the rest of the summer, as told by an idealistic, girly, sporty, literary, slightly neurotic, completely cheesy, curious college girl going on her first big adventures. Cheers.
Or should I say
Cheer(io).
